Vreugde / Joy.

Stel je voor dat vreugde te koop zou zijn. Dan zou het leven van de meest verdienende toch beslist het meest vreugdevolle moeten moeten zijn.... Maar vreemd genoeg is vaak het tegendeel het geval.
Waarom leveren al die dingen waar je zo hard voor geploeterd hebt en waarop je al je hoop gevestigd hebt, niet de vreugde op die je ervan verwacht?  Nu zou je kunnen denken, wat weet zij daar nou van? .... Ik heb het allemaal meegemaakt the sky was the limit maar dat geluk gezaligd gevoel was altijd maar van korte duur. Zou het misschien komen door de angst dat alles waar je zo hard voor gewekt hebt, je ook zomaar weer kan worden afgenomen.? Echte vreugde, bijna altijd meent dat gevoel volkomen onaangekondigd en zonder aanwijsbare oorzaak bezit van je. Zonder dat je het recept ervan kent, stroom het plotseling in warme golven door je heen. Een ding is zeker: Je moet het niet te veel zoeken of najagen anders springt het nooit bij je achterop.... Vreugde zit hem niet in spullen, het zit in ons.

Imagine that joy would be for sale. The life of the highest earning would  definitely be the most joyful  .... But strangely enough often the opposite is the case. 
Why make all those things you've toiled so hard and for which you have already established your hopes, brings not the joy you expect?  You might be thinking, what does she know about that? .... I have been through it all the sky was the limit, but that happiness  feeling was always for a short time. Could it be the fear that it all can be taken away from you in a instand  what you have worked so hard for.? True joy, almost always takes completely unannounced and without apparent cause possession of you. Without knowing the recipe of it, the power suddenly gifs warm waves through you. One thing is certain: You should not look too much or chasing it because than it will never jump on your back.... joy is not in things, it is in us.
