Carpe Diem

Zoals mijn goede vriendin altijd zegt;
Carpe diem.

We all experience it, you're on a waiting list for a hospital stay, you will be asked to speak in public, you need someone to transfer a nasty message, or what is not common in your everyday life.
Whenever you are thinking of taking the most horrific visions become your own. There will be no end to those ideas about what can go wrong.
Until the time comes or the naked fact, then you must recognize that it is actually not that difficult amazement you ask youeself what the problem was, and way you gave yourself that hard time
So think again when you are put to the test back to that moment when you pesticidal thinging put you through hell. What's wrong with: we'll see.
As my good friend always says;
If you know everything in advance, you lie before you fall.
And I know all too well it is easier said than done, but what will it accomplish you more stress and drama than necessary.
Carpe diem.

Natuurlijke kalmte / natural tranquility

Intend one day not to think about your work and you will see that you think about your work the whole day.
Consider quit smoking or going on a dieet and you'll see people around you all day smoking cigarettes or are eating.
Say to yourself, do not worry today!! And you start to worry that it does not work.
Apparently your mind does not like 'must' .....so all your efforts will only lead to rebellion in that direction.
According to Taoism things are out of balance when you leave them alone it will fall naturally into place. There is no need for commander
So the next time you get angry or injuries. Say to yourself, okay, I'm angry. So what?
You will see that you thereby directly be a lot calmer.

Ontdekken en beleven / Discover and experience

“A woman was waiting at an airport one night, With several long hours before her flight. She hunted for a book in the airport shops. Bought a bag of cookies and found a place to drop. She was engrossed in her book but happened to see,That the man sitting beside her, as bold as could be. Grabbed a cookie or two from the bag in between,Which she tried to ignore to avoid a scene. So she munched the cookies and watched the clock, As the gutsy cookie thief diminished her stock. She was getting more irritated as the minutes ticked by,Thinking, “If I wasn’t so nice, I would blacken his eye.”With each cookie she took, he took one too, When only one was left, she wondered what he would do. With a smile on his face, and a nervous laugh, He took the last cookie and broke it in half. He offered her half, as he ate the other,She snatched it from him and thought… oooh, brother. This guy has some nerve and he’s also rude, Why he didn’t even show any gratitude! She had never known when she had been so galled,And sighed with relief when her flight was called. She gathered her belongings and headed to the gate, Refusing to look back at the thieving ingrate. She boarded the plane, and sank in her seat, Then she sought her book, which was almost complete. As she reached in her baggage, she gasped with surprise, There was her bag of cookies, in front of her eyes. If mine are here, she moaned in despair,The others were his, and he tried to share. Too late to apologize, she realized with grief,That she was the rude one, the ingrate, the thief.”

Others blamen is often much easier than saying that it is all you. For example, you have lost your keys immediately, you think your children, your husband, your wife, they have moved them .... because you are firmly convinced that you had them when you came home and put them where you think they were. Moments later you see the keys are on the toilet, because you necessary needed to go, when you got home you had deposited them there. Other people forget things when they are scattered or their moody and sometimes kicking against something when they are angry or frustrated The point is they usually can not really help it because of thoughtlessness, Diverted attention or other emotions.  We are like Buddhism says all slaves of our actions. Why should we blame others? I recently read a poem that was about blame it is so good...
“A woman was waiting at an airport one night, With several long hours before her flight. She hunted for a book in the airport shops. Bought a bag of cookies and found a place to drop. She was engrossed in her book but happened to see,That the man sitting beside her, as bold as could be. Geloof / Belief

Three things a person should never give up: Believe in themself, believe in a higher self and believe in the truth.
The number three plays a major role in the Celtic spirituality, in our current western culture we have
a tend to divide things into two: good and evil, white and black, cause and effect.
In the Celtic philosophy everything comes in threes, for example, earth, sea, sky or mind, body and soul.
The three elements of the triad quote  form mutually reinforcing.
They all need to enrich our lives and daily plunge. Into the unknown
We never know what we're going to see around the corner of the street but it can be, as we turned the corner the most beautiful thing that we always wanted.

Vergeven / Forgiveness

Forgiveness is one of the most difficult tasks in our lives,
Forgiveness is giving giving means letting go, you  held on to something within you
An anger, a sense of injustice that you want to straighten or repay the other.
a sense of self-pity.
I also carried a anger towards my ex and myzelf  for a long time, because of the separating after 18 years
God I had so much anger with me, there goes my dream of calibrated cottage house with a picket fence,
But did I realy wanted that, why did it not happen, the dream, even after we bought a house, eventually one year after the relationship had ended things were falling in to place.
My life went a whole other way, the spiritual way, and what I'm doing now a calibrated cottage house with a picket fence those not fitt
Don't get me wrong though, I've got a man, but a man who supports me and helps in the new journey that I experience in the spiritual way.
So years later I have forgiven  my ex and forgive myself and I let it go, letting go is difficult, and forgiving is a cleansing process.
Forgiving each other as an inner cleaning, therefore forgiveness of sins each brine a regular feature in my homely atmosphere, an atmosphere of Friday night, the beginning of the Sabbath.
Make yourself stand tonight, concentrate on someone who has done you wrong and try to forgive him or her.
it's probably  not that easy,  but next week you have a new chance again. But, what is stopping you to try it on a weekday? Every day is a new opportunity to practice forgiveness.
And if you succeed, you can feel how liberating it feels and what a peace and calm comes over you.
And in that peace and calmness you have, new spaces came to you to make something beautiful of your life.
So don't keep your anger within, your sense of disappointment or self-pity but dissolve it and  live.

Perception means according to Krishnamurti be present with your whole mind to something
without disturbing influence from your memory, thoughts or the intentsion of something to observe
to change or add.
Only then you will be able to see things as they are in this state of mind  your full attention,
as it were, one and all window and be able to perceive the whole picture.
If you walk on the street or in the woods, are you really aware of what you see and smell and feel,
or do You just walk and look at notting.
For example, you can walk by a tree and think: that's a mango tree, but if your mind
sent botanical knowledge, you see only a fragment of the tree and not the tree in its entirety.
Totality, covering the roots, stem, leaves, blossom, fruit, and much more.
For observing and examining your own mind the same applies.
Only when everything is happening from moment to moment in your mind,
despair, hope, frustration, and so on.
Without approve or reject be ware , you can come to self-knowledge.

Aandacht/ attention

Everyone is distracted sometimes. Attention is not something which is permanent.
There are many factors that affect the quality of our attention.
Think for example of health, bustle around you or interest that you should focus your attention on.
Attention is like a muscle that can be more flexible and stronger through training. You can train your attention using meditation.
You can train your attention using meditation, the object of meditation can for excample your breathing or a candle flame.
The work is in the return of your attention to the object of meditation. Because of this you become more concentrated.. Eventually you can experience moments in which there is no difference between the attention and where attention is directed. But mostly it is a game of recalling yourself always
if you happen to be strayed.Because of this is your attention becomes more flexible and stronger.
